Well said... and this fact is the ONLY reason Apple's App store is better than Google's.... iPhone/iPod Touch hardware is relatively similar across the models and identical within each model making easy to develop an app and have it always work or always crash on all iHardware...

You sacrifice better devices and customization for the universal iHaveWhatEveryoneElseHas compatibility.
This is also the very reason why MAC/Apple hardware and software work so well, they are made for each other. There used to be other MAC hardware manufacturers, that lost their licences and or were bought off by Apple.

Personally I still have SuperMAC, but it started to work just like PCs and Windows.. Driver, software incompatibility
