It depends, are you in Part 1 or Part 2 Full Root? What you describe is normal if you've just completed Part 1. The next step would be doing the manual recovery. If you are trying to get full root with Part2 then you were not successful and need to start over at the part about disabling Nand protection.

Similar situation, you only completed Part1? Try to do the manual recovery outlined in the steps. What ROM are you on?
