So I have left my phone connected to my wifi network whenever I'm home and I have it set to never sleep. When it sleeps, the phone goes back to use 3g radio again and that is a lot more thirsty than wifi.

Thanks guys. I have been turning my wifi on whenever I know I am within wifi range, church, home, office......but I turn it off when I am not so it is not constantly searching for a network.
I will have to try some of the battery discharge tips, I have already purposely drained it 2-3 times to the point that it shuts itself down. Thanks again.
