Think of it like Insurance if you drive a ford escort your monthly charge is going to be nominal, if you drive a Bugatti your going to have a huge premium. they run on the same gas and get from point A to point B in the same way.

You are paying for the Premium device and sprint know's it.

Would you expect to have the same premium's between a ford escort and a Bugatti even though they do the same thing?
