OK...I took the leap and after three nights managed to root!!!!!

I found the key for me to be getting a PNY card (2Gb @ Walmart or Best Buy only $10)!!

I can now tether and I also have an LED flashlight!!!! Woohoo!!!! The two top things on my list to do. I didn't bother removing CityID because it doesn't really bother me and I can renew the trial time ever 15 days to keep using it, so no sweat!!!

Any questions, please feel free to ask. I am a total noobie to this and never did anything like it, so if I managed it....well...you know!!!!
