Re: Slingbox question

Another tidbit about the Slingbox. You can hook up more than just your cable box. the most you can hook up is 4 devices. Example: 1. Cable box, 2. DVD player, 3. Security system, 4. DVR. It is great. Just keep in mind that if you use a computer, everything is fine, but streaming to a cell phone, the quality of what you view on your cell phone will depend on the quality of the signal that you are receiving over your cell phone network. So if you are getting a great strong signal, the picture and audio are great. If you have a weak signal to your cell phone, then expect that to effect the quality of the picture and audio. Either it will get fuzzy or pixelated or will freeze up or you can just loose the signal and have to reconnect or restart the software. I hope that this helps you. I use my Slingbox every day. Some places have a great signal and some don't. So, I am letting you know from over 4 years of Slingbox experience. Get one. You wonKt regret it at all. Once you get one, you won't know why you did not get one sooner.
