1. Put your Evo in your Jeans front pocket...Now squat down...what do you feel? (Most likely your phone right now is being flexed in some way or another on your leg)
This could be causing the screen pull up, but it could also be manf defect too.
2. Same as above, but sit down in your car or chair..what do you feel? (Probably not as bad as squatting, but you can feel the pressure on your leg from the Evo).
3. Your phone is in your pocket, it catches on the Jeans..falls out of your hand, waam! Hits the floor and cracks the screen or the outer shell..Now what?
Flexing a phone is not a good idea...you risk cracking the screen...or LCD..or even worse the casing..now you have a Evo 4G paper weight..$200 shot down the drain...now what?
Hopefully that explains what I mean..since the first time it didn't come in so clear.
You say wearing a belt holster makes you a moron? How do you feel when you break your phone in your pocket or drop it?....feel like a Moron?
I'm gonna guess your going to rebuddle against me again and try to prove me wrong...but countless posts how showing what I am saying to be the truth...and if you want proof...I will find it for you...no just the Evo, but other phones.

I also have a problem with this as well I don't wear tight pants nor are they homey pants either they are just comfortable. So when squat down or sit down my phone is comfortable in my pocket and it not pulling on anything, I usually don't know its even there. I forgot to include the holster issue i don't wear one of those as I have to carry 2 phone with me at all times for work, and I had one on a holster and one in my pocket but i kept smashing my holstered phone on everything because it stuck out or would just plain and simple fall off my belt. I have actually dropped my phone more on my belt than i have ever dropped it in my pockets.
By no means am I arguing with you we all have you preferences on how and where we wear or hold our phones it just seems your idea may be better as your phone is not broken yet. its always hindsight after the fact but like i said i feel this is partly to blame on a defect in the glass or just a poor choice of glass.
