Just as I thought, the dialer is not problem alone. I am just getting ready to flash using dynamic memory allocation. Let's see what this does, resources are only allocated as each program is launched. Therefore more memory will be available at boot. Whether or not this will solve the problem, let's see. I tried this before and had about 85 MB of memory available at boot. It does slow the phone a little bit, but worth the tradeoff in more memory available. Will report back later with what I found.
