Definately, the positives of the app far outweigh the negatives.
Thought I should mention that for a more finger/touch friendly experience, I suggest installing the sister app FunContact v2.1
http://iwindowsmobile.com/contact-manager.html, which ties directly into SMSChat.
I have a link
to a short video I found
here (if that is allowed), which shows some of the key usability features of the program.
These people gotta start paying me for marketing their stuff
.
But as always, before installing any application which could affect your Contacts, Tasks, Calendar, SMS messages etc, I strongly suggest using Pim Backup v2.8 and some other Sprite backup utility (got one bundled with my TYTN II right outta the box
) just in case you need to hard reset your device in the future.
With both apps, you need to either minimize them, or press your OK hardkey (if you have one) to come out and leave the program running in the background. This cuts out the waiting for the splash screen to load before getting down to business.
