Re: Sprint insurance vs bestbuy insurance?

After reading all of this and other things at Best Buy forums, I called and cancelled my Best Buy insurance today. I don't know why I let the guy talk me into it. It was 10am, I had just woke up, and wasn't thinking clearly. $240 vs $168 over a period of two years. Oh but no deductible with Best Buy. Big deal, it's like having liability vs full coverage. I never did understand how some people said their insurance covers loss but not water damage. Oops I dropped it in the toilet. Just tell Sprint you lost it. The deductible doesn't change. Here are a few things I've read about Best Buy:

Notice how someone from Best Buy always shows up and basically says, "I'm sorry to hear that and that really sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it." I'm so glad I decided to research this and I got TEP put back on my plan. Thankfully I didn't stick with BB long enough to have to make a claim. Personally I don't care about the deductible because in the 8+ years I've been with Sprint, I've had to make a claim maybe twice. I hope some of this helps!
