Some of us are fine with roots like Unrevoked since we don't want to tinker too much. I just want access for certain apps like wifi tethering. Actually that's the only reason I'm rooted. I've done the whole windows mobile load your own rom dance before, and more times than not it's ended up biting me in the rear.

No matter, re-ran unrevoked, and all is well.. I was just reported what happened to me... No issues.. just seeing if it happened to anybody else, or just a fluke with mine.

Definitely not saying you didn't lose your root. Just found it odd, and I wouldn't blame the PRL first. Had you just used wifi tether before doing the prl update. I'm just wondering if something else caused it to break, because PRL's are just lists of towers your phone uses to connect to the network.
