A Sprint employee telling us to complain to HTC instead of Sprint?.... I think NOT. HTC did not disable the MMS we had working: Sprint did.
The fun of trying to work around Sprints' purposeful disabling of our devices is beginning to be outweighed by ANGER at the tretment PPC users are receiving. Unfortunately, only a MASS EXODUS of customers would ever change this. Seems to me that Sprint is slowly picking away at the services we receive on our 'unlimited' data plans so we won't use as much data. At some point, even the low price won't be worth the CRAPPY treatment and limited usefullness of Sprints data plan.
Its their way of 'fixing' their pricing without actually increasing rates. What use is 'unlimited' data when all we can get is internet access? no IM, no MMS, no TV. When Sprint figures a way to disable 3rd paty IM and TV, you can bet they will.
40-50 bucks a month for REAL unlimited data from other carriers starts to look attractive when it includes SMS, MMS and TV.
The only way Sprint will ever do anything to stop this disregard for PPC users will be a hit in the wallet, i.e. LOSING MARKET SHARE. Imagine 40,000 PPC users dropping their accounts and moving to another carrier?
