Re: Sick of this BS

For all of you don’t care and never had call recording on your phone think of all the times you:

- Needed to write something down while you’re on your phone.

- Got the shaft from some customer service rep that was having a bad day.

- Got the shaft from a salesman who told you what you wanted to hear but it just didn’t work out that way.

- Forgot the directions, address, phone number, or anything else that someone told you over the phone.

- Made an apt. but the other party didn’t show causing a debacle then tried to blame you stating “we said 3pm on Wed not Tue.”

- Had a customer take advantage of your services or try to get free things stating you had promised those things.

- Had such a crazy day you can’t even remember what you to do by tomorrow. Reviewing your calls at the end of the day is an excellent way to avoid loose ends.

- Called to stop an automatic credit card payment or any other services from a company you no longer needed but it didn’t happen.

- Not that I condone talking on the cell phone while driving but again very helpful over writing things down.

All of you can benefit from some of these things but for small business owners like me they are amazing tools in your arsenal. You have no Idea how satisfying it is when you are having an issue with a company and you reach that deadlock where they say something to the effect:

“I’m sorry sir but we just don’t show that”
And you say:
“I can e-mail you the conversation if you like?”
There next sentence is always:
“let me go over this with my supervisor and see what we can do.”
