After doing some research here:

I was able to adapt the plugin installer found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514637

I added a section to the default.plg file to include a 320*320 resolution option on install and bam, audio booster, audio manager and titanium panel rocking on the palm treo pro. So long media player.
