Personally, I always go for the items with the two adaptors; you never know what your next device will have but you can bet on this item below covering all formats/types of memory:
This is if you want to take advantage of SDHC, or Secure Digital High Capacity -

There is several people who have tried this and said it worked on various devices I think, here in the forums. What you need to do in order to use these types of cards is install the proper drivers. There is a CAB or a so called program that you install that updates the drivers used to operate your Storage Card Reader, and it gives it the neccessary drivers to read SDHC cards.
This is for the SDHC (Higher than 2GB is considered SDHC; this item is 4GB.) I don't have personal experience with SDHC working or not working, nor do I have a 6800 to test it out for you. I do have a 6700 but no cards that are SDHC. So, you would have to either research or ask around this forum that you are in now, if anyone has successfully used SDHC cards.
If you don't want to take any chances, here is the one that should work for your device: (Since it has all three options, Mini-SD/Micro-SD/ and a full sized SD adaptor, you are all set to go no matter your device you may get in the future.)

The thing about HTC is they seem to purposely change the card formats from one device to the next. The 6600 had SD, the 6700 had Mini-SD and the 6800 has Micro-SD. I have heard of the 6900 being a Touch from Verizon, but I don't think it will have changed back to SD so it will either be Micro-SD (Most likely), or Mini-SD. Personally, I would rather have Mini-SD because of its size. Micro-SD is just too small for me.
There is a lot of information that you may or may not have wanted, but here it is..
