Re: Evo= Another crippled htc device?

Thanks for the legitimate info mike. I couldn't get a clear answer with all the fanboys shouting idiocies, as I have similar concerns as the op. I've been a wino guy since I've owned smart phones, but since purchasing my ipad I realize ios has come far enough for me to consider it a great phone platform, and so I've been trying to decide between either the iPhone 4, evo, droid x or wait until the fall.

If Htc still makes me root or hack shit to get my fm radio or hw acceleration working though, I'm not sure if I want to deal with that again. I'm getting to a point in my life where I don't want to have to tweak shit constantly just for it to work.

And its funny to hear people say games on a mobile device don't matter when there's a Nearly billion dollar industry just through the app store based on gaming. Thanks for the info again mike, the evo is sweet as ****, I've used my coworkers, but with these limitations in mind I think I'll just wait to decide between the iPhone or future droid models, I'd rather deal with apples rather weak and easy to subvert software limitations rather ethane htcs, and flash support for my phone is definitely not a priority for me, but again, thanks for the honest info.
I think that if you're really unsure about what to get then you should just wait until the fall. Nothing worse than buying something and then regretting it soon after.
