When I confronted ALK CoPilot Live 8 service representatives with the lack of proper updates they stated that the HD2 VERSION IS NOT UP TO DATE WITH MAPS. The ONLY VERSION THAT HAS RECEIVED THE UPDATED MAPS ARE THE ORIGINAL NON HD2 VERSION. While I can understand the the OP had a rather good experience with theirs I believe that maybe it's a rather small town or calm town that doesn't have as much construction going on as Houston. Currently they won't tell me when the HD2 version will receive the updated maps, but I hate to think that this piece of information is left out when buying their program. Weird enough, they state their "Live Search" is up to date yet the "Live Search" is what gave me a wrong hospital address. Not just a wrong address, but the address of where the hospital used to be TWELVE YEARS AGO!!!! How is that "updated"? I can't help but feel they just gave HTC a good deal that they couldn't pass up to have an app SPECIFICALLY for their device. I hope they fix this soon, but I can't expect anything right now. This was just worth reporting because while some BELIEVE they have up to date maps on CoPilot I've received word that they haven't done this to the HD2 version so it's not possible that anyone with the HD2 has "updated" or "current" maps.
Your statements don't seem to jive with the actual product at all.

There is only one set of North America maps. Not seperate maps for the HD2 versus other devices.

I've used the product in both large and small cities and plenty of other users have as well. While many others are saying otherwise, you're claiming issues nobody else is reporting.

I'll just end with you by saying I find your claims to be highly suspect, and not comparable with what so many others besides myself who use the product are saying.
