I think it's both...but more with the actual receiving of the text. So probably about a 3 seconds delay for notification to show up...and another 10+ for the message to show up. Sending it'll be around 5 seconds or so. MMS is pretty much instantaneous so I will probably stick with that for now. Plus with SMS sometimes I am concerned about hangup or so when switching back and forth to the home page.
