wow sucks it cracked on carpet... i dropped mine the same way, maybe 1 foot less, and nothing happened. usually when people crack these screens it's because they dropped it on a hard surface. must've hit the mark. please post pics of what kind of damage can be expected if dropping no carpet from 3 feet. many of us are coming from plastic screens, so we should be aware of the damage our EVOs can take. thanks.

edit: the crackable screen is making me rethink the whole getting insurance things....... resistive screens could be dropped on concrete and keep going.
