You can text and be online yes but it still interrupts online for a fraction of a second...most audio and video is prebuffered so less then 1 sec interruption you wont notice a breakup in service...like I text and tether at same time but it does interrupt my RDP connection for a second and then reconnect when I text

This is more noticeable when I chain text..then my connection breaks..

But with wimax yes you can truly do both..cant wait till 3g is a thing of the past >.>
