both Snapdragon and the A4 are power by the same ARM Cortex A8 core but the A4 has had some "enhancements" (undisclosed, worked with samsung actually) which in theory make it perform better and both are manufactured at 45nm so their power consumption is likely similar

This is the 1.3ghz snapdragons..not the ones we currently have..the ones we have are 1ghz and 65nm
As for the A4 google up similarities of Hummingbird and the A4, then look up the details on the hummignbird's built in gpu processor
