Exclamation Help!! Headphones are screwing up my screen

I just started using a set of OEM Blackberry headphones with my TP2. They seem to work perfectly in calls (being able to answer/hang up with their button), and until this morning, playing music. However, this morning, I had some very weird stuff happen when playing music through them. A song would finish, I'd hear weird beeps, and when I looked at my screen, it was shifted over by a third!!! It was perfectly functional (i.e. I could still access screen functions but I had to push 1-2cm away from where the button looked like it was).

Anyone have ANY idea what's causing this? I'm on MR 6.5, Sense 2.5.2012. This doesn't seem to be happening when I'm on Pandora or streaming music services, just when I'm using the default HTC music player. It freaked me out a ton the first time because I thought my screen was permanently messed up, but luckily a soft reset fixed it. And then, an hour later, it happened again Help!!!
