1 thing, this rom is missing the (google) Navigation link. Navigator is there and it gets the job done, but i like a link to navigation on my home screen just because it's a bit faster to get to the navigation app than navigator. just thought i'd let you know! i also have a few questions:
with custom roms are chefs able to push ota updates?
whenever there is an update am i going to have to go through the whole flashing process again, and what backup options are available to back up my programs/settings? i discovered tonight that even though i only had the phone for 4 days, i somehow managed to have an insane amount of programs and settings loaded.
Thank you again for doing what you do for this community

OTA can still be pushed but if you install, you run the risk of losing root. Personally I would not install any OTA updates until it's deemed safe, or wait for a custom ROM that includes those updates.
I'm still looking for a good backup program to restore email, settings & apps. I included Titanium backup in the rom, but either I'm not doing something right or it's not doing what I want.

Off to play!! Thanks again Chef!
Not that we need another confirmation but yes, uninstall/reinstall if fring is on the fritz for you.

yep, not sure why fring is having issues when cooked in, but I also had to re-install

I'm KIDDING!
Of course you're not going to do anything your not ready for but honestly between toast's method and fastRX8's explanation-complete with video!-I was able to install OMJ's great work and I just got on Android less than a week ago
So root/flash when you're ready but make sure you check out this thread:

fast tweaked the recovery steps a touch in his videos so watch them too, Post #2.
Then come on back to OMJ-land of the free to tether and home of the no bloat Evo
(forgive me, I'm a bit giddy after staying up late drooling over my new new Evo )

there's also an app on the market called Quick Boot that has a recovery option, but I havent got it to work yet....I figured it would save a step when going into recovery
