I'm going to mention this ... and whether it has anything to do with this or not, I don't know. My screen started out by being odd or laggy when I was trying to unlock. Picking it up, I don't think, was about a "connection" as much as it was about giving it time to catch up. Over the next day or so, it was slow/laggy moving through home screens and typing with swype got increasingly more difficult. The buttons weren't as responsive and everything about the screen seemed Jumpy."

Soft resets and pulling the battery didn't change a thing.

I read in a different thread about pulling the battery and then holding the power button down for 10 seconds without the battery in. This put my screen back to the way it was on day one.

I'm not saying it will fix the issues you may be having, but if it is just placebo effect, I'm fine with that. If I have screen issues again, this will be the first thing I try.
