should be.
i saw it as an option on Sweet Dreams but couldnt get it working. If anything, you could get that working, and just keep it on a 24 hour profile (and hide the icon from the statusbar).
I feel your pain though, power button sucks, im running a program called "no lock" right now so i can unlock using the volume keys and skip the lockscreen.
