The same thing happened to me when I bought the hero to replace my TP. Except it happened with my wife. She broke her Centro's screen and while she was waiting for me to replace the screen she fell in love with the hero. So...I fixed the centro with parts I got off Ebay for nothing. Now it's a spare. That's ok though, I got an employee plan from Verizon for $25 and got my android fix with the moto droid. Not the best phone but def helped when my TP2 was acting up which was pretty much all the time.
I salute you! It takes a real man to give up such a pimp phone!
