I still haven't read the manual, and as an early bird to the Evo, found this method to be very useful in becoming familiar with it. From the Home screen, press Menu, and then Settings. There you will find a scrollable page with a lot of choices, and more layers of menus in many cases when you press any given item. It's well worth the time to start at the top, and go into every choice, and all the choices below that, etc. Then just use the back button, and explore the next choice, until you have seen all the possibilities that are already built in.
