Those are both very good points. I stand corrected. That is why I buy phones without contracts. I found that I can usually get enough for the old phone on ebay to cover the difference in price. I'm switching to a tp2 next week. I'll easily get $300 or more for this imagio on ebay. full retail for the tp2 online is $489. difference of $189. 2 yr contract price for a tp2 is $199. I am only estimating here, but i'm pretty close.
Granted I had to spend $600 for the first one, 4 years ago.
