Bluetooth A2DP Headset

I need advice on replacing my headset.

I've been using a Jabra BT8040 for 2 years and the volume level has always been too low. I've tried registry hacks and audiopara files and nothing has helped. I don't use it to listen to music, just phone calls, streaming radio news and talk, Slingbox TV, videos, and audiobooks. I like the small size and easy pairing, but, I can no longer live with the insufficient volume. Maybe it's because I'm getting older (51).

I'm ready to try something else that will provide more robust volume for my aging ears. Prefer a single, small device like the 8040.

BTW, I also have a Jabra BT3030 and the volume level is too low on that too.

With this in mind I'd like to try something from a different manufacturer.

Thanks

PS, If the problem is with the Vogue and not the Jabras, let me know.
