You don't say which version of MR you're using, but I can confirm that the music player on the music tab works for me without any pauses.
As my profile says, I am on FF. Don't have g-alarm, so can't test that.

I notice that g-alarm has the same behavior. I flashed my TP2 with mightyrom (may release) and now I get this annoying issue. I never got that with my old winmo 6.1 
I tried to change the cache size to 32784 in registry but it didn't fix at 100% the issue...
Anyone knows "the" fix for this ?
