Is it easy to figure out how much i'll be paying for airtime, text messages, and kb of data on a "local sim"?

... are "local sims" easy to find in stores and competitively priced?

I'm heading to Ireland next week...

Thanks.
Yes thats it. Now, remember, you will have a different number (the one assigned to the local SIM). As far as airtime, data, text, etc, it will depend on the prepaid SIM you buy. My advice is check to see who the major providers are, look at their plans online, that way you will know what you want when you land. In almost every country Ive been to there are booths in the major airports when you land, or even SIMs available in the gift shop. Thats why I suggested know before you go so you dont really need alot of assistance interprating info. Prices are pretty much the same everywhere (for same provider, etc).
