Re: EVP Pre Order still hasnt received their EVOs?

This is the 1st time I've ordered through EVP, so I asked lots of questions. I was told they don't know when the EVO will be available to order, but as soon as it is, the order will be placed & I'll be notified via email. Here is some info from his emails:

I have talked with my support team and my colleagues here in the EVP and we have a process in place to get you the order confirmations and tracking the second they are available. If there are any unusual circumstances, they know how to contact me and I will make sure you are taken care of.

When will your order ship? When will you receive it? The way our pre-order process works is we ship them out the second they are available for ordering in the national inventory…our support team is constantly checking (and even logging in from home in the evenings) and rest assured your order will be among the first placed. We have done this many times with other phones with great success…we are the experts now.

Sometimes devices are available on the official launch date, but many times we get them a day or so before. Please keep in mind that we have no control (and no way to predict) when the inventory specialists load them into the system for ordering, so I can’t tell you when your order will be placed…they do not give us a ‘heads-up’ to say when they are coming. We usually get the order confirmations before we know it’s been submitted. As far as delivery, it depends on the method you select. Either way, as soon as we know we will let you know.
If the phone does not ship till the 4th, I will cancel the order & buy from a corporate Sprint store....my cut-off date is 6/3, if no email from EVP, I cancel the order.
