I currently have a Samsung Moment that is rooted with a recovery console. Once we get an Evo that is rooted with the recovery, will we be able to use the recovery on the Moment to backup up data and system and then use the recovery on the Evo to restore the system and data?
I assume that we DON'T want to restore the Moment's system on the Evo, but how about data? Because both are running Android 2.1, I assume that we'd be able to. Or is the differing hardware going to cause problems with the restore? Will we be able to redownload any of the paid applications from the Android Marketplace if we are unable to restore the data?
The reason I ask is because I have Openhome and have things configured to my liking.
