Try loading the new ROM and then updating the driver for the TP2 under "Portable Devices" and let it search online to see if there is an updated driver available.

Yeah, I gave that one a try last night, thinking it might be the same thing. Completely deleted the device, let it install fresh, then went back and told it to update the driver and search online. It came back and told me I had the most recent driver.
What kills me is that I seem to be the only one having this problem, so I've got to believe I'm simply doing something wrong. But I just don't get why everything works up through the 4/23 ROM but not afterwards. Something's just odd, and I can't figure it out. But I'm new to the WinMo world, so I'm fishing for answers anywhere I can find 'em.
