I did have a feeling that wmodem would work on verizon as there was someone named vizionforever that got it to work back in late 2009 according to one of the posts in Mogul forum I noted above. So I am not completely surprised it does work on vzon. Now to get it to work on sprint again......
i tried re-installing the wmodem a couple times on mr.x rom, and the start was always greyed out.

on my phone there's only 2 pages in epst that have the dial up username/user id. (example: 5555555555@dun.vzw3g.com)
Open EPST and go to the Security page. make sure "dun" is not in any of the entries there.
then go to M.IP Defailt Profile page and do the same.
