since you're new to android devices... i have a couple comments for some of your comments.

First, if you really want to use a stylus, you can get a capacitive stylus. there are several designs, some weirder than others. i know one has a ball at the end and another has a flat transparent piece at the end.

yes, a capacitive screen is a lot more sensitive, but this is a good thing and you will get used to it. then when you go back to your tp2, you'll wonder how you were able to use it.

micro usb is the standard. we have so many miniusb plugs thanks to htc in the past... they've switched to micro with all of their latest devices and that's all you'll see from now on for phones.

i believe you mentioned the lack of a task switcher. did you know you can press and hold the home key and a panel will pop up with six of your last used programs? not as good as winmo, but still decent.
