Without better optics and a bigger sensor, there's just not that much you can do in software. The alternative is to carry a Nokia with a giant sensor and Carl Zeiss optics. Nice, but overkill IMO for what is always going to be a secondary camera.

please stop. What does half of what you said have to do with pre picture quality?? MP"S have nothing to do with picture quality, only the size really. SO your one"point" is instantly invalid, and you obviously have no idea what your talking about
not to mention pre's video quality is way better too, as far as frame rate goes

sorry to let yall know evo is not the end all be all. Im in no way a pre lover, i cant wait to get the evo and sell this pre and tp2 BUT i can see things from an unbiased POV and admit the camera on the EVO (all HTC phones really) sucks even for camera phone, compared to older competition. the only thing they did right on EVo camera is autofocus and dual LED, which is great dont get me wrong
