I tried all that before, soft resets, even a hard reset and none of it worked. I found out what the problem was and now have my headset icons working!
the problem was that BT Stereo Headset.bmp and BT Headset Mask.bmp are not used by my phone. My stock sprint 6.5 tp2 uses Stereo Headset.bmp and Stereo Headset Mask.bmp for the headphones are plugged in. I simply changed the names of the files removing the BT and the custom icons showed up as soon as i plugged in my headphones.Im glad i fixed the 2 issues i had out of these taskbars because i really do love the work man!
