FYI, as someone who's worked on metal before, I recommend keeping that polished metal clean and repolishing once in a while. Fact is that's unprotected metal. Not clear-coated or anything and being touched by oily fingers CAN cause minor rust and wear. It's up to you if you want to clear coat it or not, but that stuff isn't exactly cheap either (not expensive, but not cheap either). Just keeping it clean will help a lot.
