I emailed Sprint about this issue and this is what they wrote back. If enough people are complaining then maybe they will include it in a software update? What do you guys think?

I understand your inquiry regarding issues with the phone.

Currently, we are working with the manufacturer to add such services included in the phone. We are receiving the feedback from other customers as well.

Although, no official release date has been declared for the upgraded version. However, as soon as the upgrade is launched, we will inform our customers with high profile promotions.

I understand that there are lot of customers waiting for the release and I can assure you that our technical department is working hard to make it available soon. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.
