I did this at a very tiny Radioshack 5 minutes from my house. To my surprise the manager said they've had a TON of people come in a Pre-Order. Is it possible they run out of phones before I get mine, even if I pre-ordered? Anyways, I wanted to Pre-Order soon because after 5/31 you can't get the free $20 credit to buy an accessory for the phone.

The manager is kind of a ditz and was talking and talking and talking. For some reason, he gave me a $50 gift card for Radioshack, and then said if I wanted to, I can use that to help pay for the Evo itself. I didn't read about that ANYWHERE! Maybe I missed it or something. Anyways, so let me get this straight...

Evo should be $199 for me since I'm adding a new line. I had to put down $50 to pre-order, and then I can use the free $50 gift card to help pay, which basically brings the phone down to $99. (excluding tax and the $20 for the new line).

Did anyone else get this kind of deal, or is that just me...?
