The ROM itself has very few areas that it could freeze in; it's extemely unlikely it is the ROM. I had the freezes too, but there is a very simple but time consuming fix. Go to your setting and wipe your device. Get it back to the "newly flashed" state. You can still import all your contacts, but slowly import your settings and .cabs. You can make it a little easier on yourself and go ahead and install the ones you are sure are safe, but I wouldn't. Thanks for this post. I actually did Task29 again, installed the GTX 22nd version, and so far so good it is working great.
