So i took a break from beating my brains against a wall with the rhodium hw3d issues to see what i can do with this froyo nonsense.

I got a system.sqsh ready and from what i can tell i think the kernel is the bottle neck for us. Froyo i think runs on the 2.6.32 kernel and we are using 2.6.27. The Hero devs got it to run on 2.6.29 so that means we might be able to if we can port the current kernel to .29. It's not rocket science but it does take time.

The actual system doesnt boot. It crashes on the Vold service over and over. Also the Accelerometer service is all whacked out. I tried disabling as many services as possible but still no luck.
