froyo is nice but even if you get rooted the froyo aosp hasn't been released so creating a froyo rom isn't possible. Google has released a froyo rom for the nexus but developers can't create froyo roms from this, they need the source codes. But rooting does bring wifi access as well as custom roms, with and without htc sense, not to mention bloatware can be removed and apps2sd can be installed. |
