i agree... the phones volume needs to be up AND the volume in whatever player ur using needs to be up as well.. so you have 2 volume settings you need to make sure are up... then u should be good...

i use the cassette adapter for my Yukon.. dont feel like taking my dash apart for the aux connection..

i use the Y cable at home for my stereo though... been doing that since back with the mogul and using the dongle...

i get amazing sound in my car using the cassette method, so if your not getting premium sound out of yours, just check your settings...

advanced config also has a setting to disable the 100db limit thats set by default
