While I dont use the phone so much for pictures I do use it for GPS navigation. I remember that if the card is slow, the maps will be really slow to load that generates a lag between the current position and the position displayed on the screen... I currently have a TP (yes and it still works great) and I have found that the maps load faster with at least a class 4 card... good thing I can move my current card (8GB) to the new device
