Can someone explain how to assign buttons to programs? Start/settings/personal/buttons.
When I go there, it looks like this.
Buttons
1. Select a button:
| Button | Assignment |
|Button | <none> |
|Button | <none> |
|Button |<Today>|
|Button | <none> |
|Button | <none> |
|Send Key(hold) |<Rotate Screen>|

2. Assign a Program:

| DropDownMenuHere |

When I select a button on the left,, it highlights. I am not sure what to do now though.. When I press a button like "back" it doesn't do anything but go back to previous screen(settings/personal). If I hold the button it doesn't do anything. If I choose an "assignment" nothing happens.
This is most likely user error so please could someone explain how to assign for example "voice command" to the "back"(left arrow) button?

Thanks so much for the work you did so quickly with the appoinment cab.

p.s. Does anyone know where to get a transcriber? I have tried a few I found here and at XDA but none worked. I really miss being able to write a big long not all over the screen.
Thanks
I will double check when I get home if I include the things required to get transcriber to work. As for the buttons, I believe you would be assigning programs to the center button. Holding the middle area of the center button triggers the program assigned to the send key. My guess then left, down etc is the area surrounding it.
