Re: FYI: BB Price match confirmation

I went to Best Buy today and pre-ordered mine. I'm using my wifes two year upgrade to get the $199 price. Best Buy doesn't do any mail-in rebates they give the discount instantly so you pay $199 out the door (plus tax). All I had to do was buy a $50 gift card (down payment) which I will use when purchasing the phone and fill out some piece of paper with my name, address, and phone #. They're going to call me before 6-4 and set up the time for me to pick it up so their won't be throngs of people to deal with. I was initially going to get it from sprint for $299 and forgo the rebate since as soon as I walk out of Best Buy I'm going to change the ESN to my #. By changing the ESN # inside of 30 days voids the mail in rebate hence the $299 cost from Sprint. This should work out perfectly because of the instant $100 rebate at BB, the 2yr upgrade discount of $150, plus when I called Sprint and was checking on the wifeys renewal date they said it was 6-1 and gave me an additional $70 off of my bill for renewing early. So essentially I'm going to be getting the EVO for roughly $120 which could be cheaper if I do the buy back program through Sprint and send it and have between $80-$55 dollars credited to me or my bill. I let my wife use my upgrade in January for a Blackberry cause hers tanked and she wasn't eligible yet and I was. This is the reason for all the jumping through the hoops. However, when I've spoke to all the people at Sprint Customer Service, 2 different Sprint stores, and went in to Best Buy as well as called everyone was very consistent in pricing and planning so I hope I've covered all my bases and have my ducks in a row and everything works the way it should.
