Few questions:

1) How do I get In-Call recording to work? I made a call and selected record from the menu. It gave me an audible sound. However, when I opened the in call recording app there was nothing listed. There were no recorded files in the MyDocs/Recordings folder either.

2) Finally, whats the best way to back up all the settings/configuration so that I can just flash a later update to this ROM and maintain everything how its set up? Sashimi? Is there one solution to do it all?

Using a TP2.
sashimi works well and you can also try XDA UC. they are both great tools. Sashimi is a little more complicated at first to set up, but once done, everything is a brisk. And I think it's more powerful than XDA. But you can't go wrong with either. And there's no easy button for this, you all have to sit down and set them up.
