If yes what is the point of wifi tethering?
If a call comes in while your tethered, the wi-fi tethering is stopped and the call comes through. You would have to restart the tethering after the call.

Tethering is useful when you have a device that runs via wi-fi and you want to run it away from a hot-spot, basically creating a mobile hot-spot.

I used to use mint to play around with my iTouch while waiting for the kids in my car, or to use the internet on my laptop while camping. It does have its uses, but unless you really have a need or specific use in mind, this wouldn't be for you.....but if you do....this works GREAT!!!!
